About the Topic
We know what we are supposed to do, with : our health & diet, discipline, time management, anger management, letting go and moving on, decluttering, the taking down wall in inter-personal relations that get built because of egos, etc. And yet taking the steps to actually bring about the change presents us, and our clients, with a range of conflicts: of emotions, of the short-term versus the long term, of relationship versus results, and so on. Here is where Psychodrama is tremendously helpful. As we enact the client’s conflict or conundrum, instead of just talking about it, we facilitate access to new behaviors grounded in the real life expression of a client’s inner world. Enactments help clients tap into emotions to understand their relationship with their inner self and the larger picture of their life. The session was an introduction to the power of psychodrama and transforming consciousness.
